Lost and Found exhibition at Rawlins



The NHS Open' is one of LPT's flagship art projects. Now in it's
third year, it exists to show how art - making or consuming it - can
help improve your mental health and wellbeing. Over the last two years
it has showcased some of the most interesting work currently being
created, by artists from hugely diverse backgrou...nds.This year's
show is entitled: Lost and Found'. Approximately 80 pieces have been
chosen from hundreds of submitted pieces and these pieces will tour
four prestigious show venues. The final tour dates are listed below
Rawlins College, Quorn: September 8th - September 27th(Preview: September 7th. 6.30pm - 8pm)
Charnwood Museum, Loughborough: October 1st- 31st (Preview: September 30th, 6pm-8pm
Visitors to the exhibition can vote for their favourite artworks and
the most popular pieces will be purchased by the Trust and put on
permanent display.
Each venue will be supported by brief performance by either our
Patron, the poet Jean ‘Binta' Breeze, or another spoken word artist.
Each venue will also be supported by a poetry workshop, led by Jean and
examining the work in the show. We would very much welcome your
attendance at both previews and workshops. Written work generated during
workshops, will be displayed alongside it's inspiring artwork.At
Charnwood Museum, ‘Lost and Found' will tie in with ‘The Lyric Lounge' -
a broader festival, of poetry and spoken word. ‘Lost and Found @ The
Lyric Lounge' will see a full day of Workshops, focused on the
