St Bartholomew's Primary- 'Clay Seeds of Value'
Yesterday marked phase one of a two day project at St Bartholomew's Primary school in Quorn, working with every single one of the 318 children there. Each class came out to my outdoor studio in the sunshine to make a single clay seed which they then engraved with a symbol, picture or word which represented either one of the Olympic values or the spirit of the Olympic values combined. Images ranged from hearts to represent friendship, smiling faces to represent equality and stars to represent excellence.
After painting, these seeds will become part of a permanent installation at the school.
