Cossington key stage 1: watercolour painting

I have had the pleasure of working with a very young group on Wednesday afternoons at Cossington Primary school. Through 5 sessions I have been introducing new media to them to give them a chance to try something different and fun. We are working towards producing pieces for the International Voices art exhibition at De Montfort Hall in March as well as allowing the children to each make something to take home every week.

I had to include these examples of watercolour painting because they are so beautiful! These are by 5 and 6 year olds who hadn't painted in watercolours before!
