Highgate school in Sileby have started a series of painting workshops with me to create a garden full of faces! After a big chat with the children and some drawing ideas, they decided that they wanted to represent themselves, the past children and the future children of Highgate with a display of happy faces in the garden.
Using terracotta plates, silver trays, plastic lids and even big spoons the participants are carefully painting faces in acrylic which will later be varnished to protect them from the weather.
