One hundred and four children aged from 4 to 11 in two one hour sessions, and HUMAN COLLAGE was created! It was Friday, a wet, miserable afternoon when I arrived with three dustbin bags full of tinsel, wood shavings, tissue paper, wallpaper, wool, feathers and fabric as well as six 3.5 by 5m display papers (which were taped onto on the floor of the hall). We proceeded to create the most amazing pictures, photographed from above (me standing on a table!) before, when every child and teacher was thoroughly worn out, I swept up and went home!
